Rate Limits

How request throttling works for API keys.

Overview

Rate limits protect the platform and your account. Limits are applied per API key (default 60 requests per minute, configurable per key).

Headers

Successful authenticated responses include:

  • X-RateLimit-Limit — max requests per minute
  • X-RateLimit-Remaining — remaining in the current window
  • X-RateLimit-Reset — unix timestamp when the window resets
  • X-Request-Id — unique request id

When exceeded

HTTP 429 with Retry-After: 60:
